Alice in Stitches is a very large designer plush artwork that was made for the exhibition "Curiosity Often Leads to Trouble - A Tribute to Alice in Wonderland". This was held at The Art of Framing in Normal Heights, San Diego in April 2007.

Every detail is handstitched, including the checkerboard base which took a loooong long time to make. There is a hidden motor underneath the Mad Hatter, so that he spins around like the Teacup Ride at Disneyland!

This piece was displayed in the window of the store, it is much larger than it looks in this photo!
